The eye and vision

The human body detects and analyzes information about the surrounding of the human body coded in light, electromagnetic radiation in the visual spectral band. The eye is the transducer and executes primary information processing for visual perception. The primary processed information is transferred to the brain for final information processing, perception and interconnection with other information processing in the brain.
